SCEE president Devid Reeves has confirmed that European gamers will also be getting the new 80GB PS3 SKU. On August 27, 2008, EU and PAL territories will be able to purchase the unit, so pre-order now if you like. Remember though, it still does not have backwards compatibility.

Miyamoto-san himself has confirmed at post-press-conference Nintendo get-together that a new Pikmin is indeed on the way. No details were divulged, but we can put this to rest once and for all, we think.

Final Fantasy XIII Coproducers Shinji Hashimoto and Yoshinori Kitase spoke with 1UP at E3. They talked about XIII appearing on the Xbox360, and even hinted at a surprise FFVII announcement. The development of 13 for the Xbox360 will not affect the release date of the game, thankfully. We have been waiting for a long time for the game. Unfortunately, it seems there will not be a simultaneous release for FFXIII, but they may be able to get it done in time.

In his legendary classy style, Miyamoto has said he is "flattered" that Microsoft has pinched his Mii idea for the new Xbox360 OS replacement. Instead of complaining, he takes the high road, which is Miyamoto-san, through and through.

"To see that a company like Microsoft has taken something we've done and kind of looked at it in a way and brought it out on their platform to kind of show that we've done has become the standard, I find quite flattering," Miyamoto told IGN.

Speaking at a roundtable Q&A, Jack Tretton from Sony commented on Final Fantasy XIII's move to a non-Sony exclusive. Even he, apparently, did not know the move was coming. He said he was disappointed for sure, but he also accused Microsoft of "trying to curry favor with third parties." Why that is a bad thing, we are not sure.

Any of you who have missed it so far, GS has the new E3 Motorstorm Pacific Rift trailer posted. The game looks even better than the first, believe it or not, and it is set in the Hawaiian Jungles for some reason. More tracks this time around, please SCE!

Bungie was all set to reveal a new Halo title, they even had a countdown on their website as we told you. Well, now it seems that Bungie has decided not to show the game off at this year's event. We likely guess they walked around the show room floor and saw something that played and looked better.

Gamespot has posted some great gameplay from the new SCE game Infamous. As you know, you play a man who discovers he has supernatural powers. It is your decision to play as an evil or good person, and you make the game your own.

Our friend Seth Schiesel from the New York Times has penned an article detailing just how the press conferences went at E3. He does relate that both Sony an Nintendo seriously underwhelmed the public, although Nintendo was not as bad as Sony, we think. Then again, Sony seems to be focusing on non-gaming apps and technology, despite the vehement outcries from Playstation 3 owners.

Reggie Fils-Aime from Nintendo of America, spoke briefly to G4 after the Nintendo press conference. While he would not confirm nor deny the existence of the game, he did say the Zelda and Mario teams were hard at work over at the big N, and they are working hard to fill the Wii with content. To that end, they also asked him about the "core" Nintendo gamer, and how they felt a bit left out after the presentation. Reggie reacted pre tty agressively, saying:

“How could you feel left out? The Animal Crossing that we’ve been hearing about that people wanted. Fully connected to the Internet, go to other people’s towns. Plus as I said, Grand Theft Auto on the DS. How do you feel left out with those types of announcements?”
