The Dutch Official PlayStation Mag has apparently revealed that a new PS3 exclusive is in the works, and will be revealed next month. No details were given because of a non-disclosure agreement, but they are apparently flying to L.A. next month to get all the dirt. Stay tuned.

A new, direct-feed, Tekken 6 gameplay video has surfaced on the net. It shows the full battle between King and Feng. To be honest, it looks good, but it does not look head and shoulders better than any of the other great-looking fighters. It will be Tekken all over again, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Speaking to the official Playstation.com, Sony executives say they are looking forward to 2009. 2009 will be a "very exciting" year for PS3, said David Reeves, with games like Heavy Rain and Killzone 2 on the release schedule. Along with this there will be the music and video download service, and of course, PSN HOME, finally. Add to this the PSP connectivity and "some more big titles and innovations" that have not even been announced yet, and the Sony camp says 2009 will be a prime example of Playstation at its best.

According to Microsoft, Christmas 2008 was the best sales peroid ever for the Xbox360 in Europe. The sales were almost double those of Christmas 2007, it seems. Eight million units were sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa up to the end of 2008, which MS claims puts them at least 1 million ahead of the PS3. Cambridge, Mass. – January 2, 2009- Harmonix and MTV Games announced today the addition of one of the most influential pioneers of rock and roll, Roy Orbison, to the Rock Band® Music Store catalog of downloadable content. Grammy Award-winning Roy Orbison was a singer, songwriter and performer whose distinctive sound scored him an astounding nine Top 10 hits in four years in the early 1960s. Orbison’s historic career began in the 1950s and saw a huge resurgence in the late 1980s, when he became a prominent influence on artists like Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Bono, k. d. lang and Traveling Wilburys.

Sony revealed to Eurogamer that the European PS3 gamers will be getting some form of demo for the upcoming game, Killzone 2. They said they could not confirm exactly what form the demo would take, but it would almost certainly be released before the main game. In the US, the demo is only available to those who pre-order the title, or those who got into the beta.

EA is planning to release the Skate 2 demo this week on the Xbox Live marketplace.
